The following recommended versions are published as an FYI for CM M3 / CM WebClient development. These are guidelines only, for alternative supported versions please consult the respective product documentation. These recommendations are current as of 1/2016.

Dev Tools

CA Plex: 7.1 R2. Obtain from support.ca.com or support.cmfirstgroup.com. 

JDK: 8u74 or latest stable dot release. Obtain from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html

Eclipse/Spring: 3.7.2. Obtain from http://spring.io/tools/sts

App Servers / Web

Tomcat: 8 latest stable dot release. Obtain from http://tomcat.apache.org/download-80.cgi

Apache: 2.4.18 or latest stable dot release. Obtain from https://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi

CM WebClient: Latest Stable Release 1.8.3. Obtain from support.cmfirstgroup.com

Dojo/Sencha: Use versions shipped with CM WebClient

DevOps

CM MatchPoint: Latest Stable Release. Obtain from support.cmfirstgroup.com

SVN: Subclipse plugin for Eclipse or Tortoise Client for Windows Explorer

Automated Test: Select per requirements. CMF recommends and works with SmartBear  and WorkSoft Certify
