Property management

CM EvolveIT Property management allows users can edit data in inventory. Users can add new properties or import data from CSV for a new property.
This document covers how to use CM EvolveIT Import Menu. 

How to open Property Management



Property Management UI:


Property Management UI Detail:

1. Add Custom Property:

To add new property into item type. 
  1. Click on Add button to open the pop-up.
      
  1. On Add Custom Property pop-up:
            + Target Type: Select Object Type that we want to add new Property
            + Name: Custom Property name
            + Display Name: Label of Custom Property
            + Property Type: Value type.
                                        
  1. To check new property that applied to Object Type or not.
       Ex: Alias property for Menu
       

      

2. Custom Property Data Grid:

To show custom property data. Beside that, we can have some actions in this grid as below:
  1. Sorting data: When clicking on the column header:
      

  1. Filter data:
      

3. Row actions:

  1. Import Property Values:
      

            + We can click on Browse.. button to import Data from CSV file
            + In the case we do want to get the CSV template, we can click on the "Download schema template" to get the CSV template and fill data before importing.
              Value type format:
                   + DateTime: yyyy-MM-dd or yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ss (2020-08-10 or 2020-08-10T11:02:33)
                   + Boolean: true or false
                   + Number: numeric data (123 for Integer or Long and 123.33 for Decimal)
                   + String: String data
            + Result:
                          

  1. Delete customer property:
