Label for Snapshot Date

This document will show you how to create a label for the snapshot date called a snapshot name.

After completing this document, you should be able to setting snapshot name.

1. Log in to the dashboard with a valid dashboard user id.

You need to have User Group Management Permissions.

There is a built-in administrator that can be used for setup initially.

Built-in administrator (Default Password is ‘admin@1234!’)

2. Go to Inventory on the menu.

Administration -> Inventory Management -> Inventory

You will see list inventory

(1): With active inventory, there is an action to update snapshot date

(2): Current selected snapshot date, by default will show date time

We can name the snapshot by clicking on action (1), a dialog will open with the current snapshot name, you can change the name. In case the snapshot name is left blank, the datetime will be displayed by default.

After update, UI has been updated with new snapshot name

If you have multiple snapshot dates, select the snapshot date (2), then click the action (1) to update the name.
