Dashboard - Inventory Management
This document will cover the basics of how to map Inventories to Object Groups in the CM EvolveIT Dashboard. There will be a discussion of how to assign and remove Inventories form an Object Group.
After completing this document, you should have an understanding of how to assign and remove Inventories form an Object Group.
1. Log in to the dashboard with a valid dashboard user id.
You need to have User Group Management Permissions.
There is a built-in administrator that can be used for setup initially.
Built-in administrator (Default Password is ‘admin@1234!’)
Once logged in the dashboard view will display.
Administration -> Inventory Management -> Object Group
Select Action - Assign Inventories to Object Group.
Select the Paper Plane Icon to open the Assign Inventories to Object Group screen.
A Popup screen will display titled: Assign Inventories to Object Group
There are two tables including Unassigned Inventories and Assigned Inventories.
- All available inventories that do not belong to this object group in the Unassigned Inventories table.
- All object inventories belong that belong to this Object Group are in the Assigned Inventories table.
3. Assign Inventory to an Object Group.
Assign an inventory to an available object group, using one of the following methods.
- Select inventories and click the right arrow to assign the inventory to the Assigned Inventories table.
- Click and drag and drop one or more inventories to inventories to the Assigned Inventories table.

4. Remove an Inventory from an Object Group.
Remove an inventory from an available object group, using one of the following methods.
- Select inventories and click the left arrow to move the inventory to the Unassigned Inventories table.
- Click and drag and drop one or more inventories to inventories to the Unassigned Inventories table.
