WebEditNoBorders Control Manual

The WebEditNoBorders control (WebEditNoBorders.ctrl) allows users to utilize an “Edit” control in Read Only mode with a different CSS Class than the regular WebEdit control (WebEdit.ctrl).

This manual shows how to implement and use the WebEditNoBorders control:

  1. Copy the file “WebEditNoBorders.ctrl” to your project’s Custom Templates folder:

  2. Add the following code in your CSS file:



    NOTE: This will make your Edit controls appear borderless, you can change this if you need modify the appearance of your Edit controls. Only the Edit controls using the WebEditNoBorders template will be affected.
  3. In CA Plex Change the property “Control Name” from the Edit fields on which you want to use the WebEditNoBorders control, the format from the property “Control Name” must be:

    <Your Edit Control Name>:MainArea:template=WebEditsNoBorders:default”.

    Example:

    Flags:MainArea:template=WebEditNoBorders:default

  4. Generate your functions in Plex and test your changes in Eclipse
