How to submit a code scanning issue

For issues that are suspected to be related to the code scanning component, please provide the following information attached to the support ticket.

  1. Logged output from Standard Output/Standard Error for the scanner
  2. XML Output from the scanner (if any)
  3. For debugging performance problems, time stamped output such as (1) above for an entire project run is required for identifying bottlenecks or inappropriately long runs.  When this unavailable, XML file creation times could also be informative.
  4. For debugging language parsing issues, please submit the complete text of the source line reported in the error message plus the five lines preceding that line.
  5. For errors with COPYLIB processing, please capture the entire COPY statement along with all REPLACING clauses.  Analogously, JCL procedures require this information as well.
